Are you a Sports Coach or Youth Worker looking to take your experience into a primary school setting?

We're recruiting energetic, reliable and enthusiastic candidates to support pupils across primary schools in Monmouth. Your experience motivating, mentoring and engaging children could transfer brilliantly into a Teaching Assistant or school support role.

• Support pupils in the classroom and during practical activities
• Use sport, games and physical activity to encourage engagement and confidence
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independence
• Support teachers with classroom activities and learning
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff

• Sports Coaches & PE Coaches
• Youth Workers
• Dance Teachers & Instructors
• Martial Arts Instructors
• Swimming Teachers
• Scouts & Guides Leaders
• Cadet Instructors
• Children's Activity Leaders & Entertainers
• Anyone with volunteering experience supporting children or young people

• Experience working with children or young people is essential (work, coaching, volunteering, youth work or similar)
• Positive, energetic and adaptable approach
• Confident communicating with children and young people
• Patient and able to build positive relationships
• Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

• Flexible work to suit your availability
