West Monmouth School is a successful 11-16 school. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
The contracted hours of work will be 30 hrs per week. The key requirements for each position include :
- the ability to work well as part of a team, adopting a flexible approach as required
- excellent communication skills, including IT
- Level 2 English and Mathematics
- excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- an excellent understanding of how to support teaching and learning effectively
- a good understanding of how to support the development of behaviour, emotional and social skills
- the ability to sensitively support personal care needs of learners as required
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all successful applicants, which will include an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Registration with the Education Workforce Council is required for this position.
