Are you a Sports Coach or Youth Worker looking to take your experience into a primary school setting?

We're recruiting energetic, reliable and enthusiastic candidates to support pupils across primary schools in Monmouth. Your experience motivating, mentoring and engaging children could transfer brilliantly into a Teaching Assistant or school support role.

The Role

Support pupils in the classroom and during practical activities
Use sport, games and physical activity to encourage engagement and confidence
Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independence
Support teachers with classroom activities and learning
Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff

Who We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people is essential (work, coaching, volunteering, youth work or similar)
Positive, energetic and adaptable approach
Confident communicating with children and young people
Patient and able to build positive relationships
Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
