** Job overview
** Due to expansion, we now have a position open at Llangattock School Monmouth for a creative and experienced Science Teacher who will contribute to wider success by teaching outstanding Science classes and sustaining student performance in terms of teaching, learning, and evaluation.
** You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Science curriculum, and be knowledgeable in all 3 specialisms of Chemistry, Biology and Physics, using assessments and feedback to sustain and raise achievement. You’ll have an enthusiasm for supporting learners with additional needs, teaching with a positive and inclusive outlook, and managing complex behaviours within a structured learning environment, to ensure differently-abled learners can reach their full potential.
** Job requirements*
* • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification or*
* • Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BSc in a Science-related degree)*
* • Ability to deliver high-quality Science lessons covering a range of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical*
* • Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Science*
* • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations*
* • Experience working with students with SEND is essential.*
* • To have an awareness of a trauma informed approach.
