We are looking for experienced Welder Fabricators • £15-£18ph

Usk, NP15
• Immediate start
• Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 (hours can vary slightly)
• Ongoing contract with temp to perm opportunities.

JDR Recruitment is recruiting experienced Welder Fabricators to join our client’s team based in Usk, NP15. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, with a strong focus on producing high‑quality fabrication work to specification.

• Fabricate and weld components according to technical drawings and instructions; carry out MIG welding competently.
• Meet minimum required units to be created daily.
• Operate workshop machinery such as grinders, saws, drills, and plasma cutters.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal structures with precision.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Own tools and PPE (desirable).
• Welding certifications (preferred but not essential).
