We're working with a specialist business operating across the water, environmental and infrastructure sectors, supporting major construction and utility projects through innovative water treatment and environmental solutions.

An opportunity has become available for a Yard Operative to join the team at their Monmouth site. This is a practical, hands‑on role where you'll prepare specialist equipment for its next deployment, supporting workshop, warehouse and yard operations that play a vital part in keeping projects moving across the UK.

The role requires someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is happy working both independently and as part of a close‑-knit team.

• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Regular daytime hours, 08:30 to 17:00
• Full-time contract position
• Varied work across the workshop, warehouse and external yard

• Prepare specialist equipment returned from hire, ensuring it is ready for its next deployment.
• Remove and reinstall PVC plates, pipework and associated fittings.
• Clean equipment using pressure washing equipment.
• Remove silt, soil and debris from returned units.
• Reassemble equipment ready for future hire.
• Receive, unload and organise deliveries within the warehouse.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised workshop, warehouse and yard areas.
• Assist with the manufacture and assembly of specialist equipment.
• Support continuous improvement projects across the workshop and yard.
• Carry out general workshop, office and site maintenance duties.
• Assist the wider team with additional operational activities as required.

• Previous experience within a yard, workshop, warehouse, manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial.
• Practical hands‑on approach with good mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable carrying out physically demanding work.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  
  Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Health and safety conscious.
• Willing to learn and support different areas of the operation.
