BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Professional to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Supplier Assurance Manager
, you'll play a key role in introducing, developing and assuring both new and existing suppliers, ensuring they meet the quality, technical and contractual standards required to support our Defence Solutions Munitions business.

• Reviewing technical requirements to ensure customer expectations are clearly understood and effectively flowed down to suppliers.
• Assessing supplier capability and capacity to meet contractual and quality requirements.
• Supporting supplier selection, qualification and onboarding activities.
• Applying Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools and techniques, including Process Control Plans and PFMEA, to supplier development and change projects.
• Reviewing and approving supplier First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Coaching suppliers on quality tools, techniques and best practice to drive capability and continuous improvement.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, production or quality-related role.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) principles and tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques.
• Experience working with recognised Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO, AS or AQAP.
