We’re in search of a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist for our Monroe location. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.

The Treatment Coordinator acts as a liaison between the doctor and the patient, gathering information for the new patient experience and coordinating treatment plans. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with clients. The Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for anxious patients and coordinates with other offices for referrals and correspondence.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients
  • Handle heavy phone volume
  • Schedule appointments for doctors and hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between patients and doctors
  • Enter patient treatment plans
  • Discuss treatment needs with patients and make financial arrangements
  • Estimate, collect, and post patient payments
  • Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
  • Perform general office duties (printing, faxing, computer data entry, etc.)

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent computer skills

  • Ability to work within current office hours, including up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month
Monroe Hours of Operation
  • Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • 1st Saturday of the month 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Part‑time hours will vary
Preferred Qualities
  • Experience with Dentrix Ascend Software
