Position Overview
- The Senior Sales Manager (B2C) leads a team of in‑home replacement sales representatives whose goal is to gain homeowner trust and close sales. Responsibilities include coaching, motivating, and developing team members’ consultative selling techniques, minimizing errors, protecting contribution margin goals, and managing rebates to ensure profitability.
- The manager’s primary duty is to develop an effective in‑home replacement sales team and drive 100% “Very Satisfied” customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Achieve team sales goals by coaching and managing representatives to overcome objections and reinforce closing techniques.
- Ensure under‑performing reps follow the Pella replacement sales process.
- Achieve team profitability goals through building value, managing discounts, and controlling error rates.
- Assign opportunities by matching consultants’ skill levels to project difficulty and sales potential.
- Promote independent decision‑making, strive for first‑time resolution on all customer issues, and respond to escalations with sales rep involvement.
- Supervise the Sales Support Specialist who manages calendars and generates additional leads.
- Collaborate with Service/Operations teams to ensure successful installations.
- Work variable, non‑traditional hours to support reps and customers during evenings and weekends.
- Assist the General Manager (B2C) in recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and retaining high‑performing sales consultants.
- Assist the General Manager in local marketing decisions, promotional oversight, and marketing agency supervision.
- Assist the General Manager in developing annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Work with the Field Sales Manager (B2C) to improve field rep performance.
- Develop and coach showroom/inside sales team members to ensure consistent product presentation and exceptional customer service.
- Effectively utilize CRM to manage the sales team and adopt new technologies for lead generation.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
- Five years of related experience and/or training.
- Valid individual motor vehicle record that complies with company requirements.

Location
- This position will require 1‑2 days per week working at the Monroe, CT office, with the remaining days spent with sales reps across the territory or working remotely.
Compensation
- $145,000 – $275,000 OTE.
