Position: Future Middle School Faculty

Middle & Upper School Division Head

Position Status:
This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month position.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Teaching experience in secondary education

· Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Teach 5 sections of relevant class(es) in a seven-period schedule

· Work directly with other grade level teachers as part of a professional team

· Work vertically with the larger middle school team to collaborate and develop and enrich robust learning opportunities

· Advise students as part of the Middle School Advisory Program

· Attend scheduled committee and faculty meetings, both during and after-school

· Contribute to the larger school community by working carpool duties, participating in curriculum night and open house. We also welcome employees with an interest coaching and sponsoring other extracurricular programs.

Successful candidates exhibit not only relevant experience and a robust educational background but also a passion for collaborating with children, an interactive teaching approach, adept interpersonal skills with both parents and colleagues, and a commitment to establishing and fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.
