Surg Tech - Operating Room

As a Level III Trauma Center and ANCC Pathway to Excellence designated facility since 2022, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care 24/7/365 including urgent and emergent add-on cases.

Our cross‑trained surgical staff supports a broad range of services including orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, robotic‑assisted procedures, bariatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy. The OR team is composed of RNs, surgical technologists, CSFAs, and procedure support technicians, with staffing aligned to AORN standards to ensure high‑quality, safe, and efficient care.

Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

MINIMUM

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High School graduate or GED.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

• N/A

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• BLS certification required.
