Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN – Georgia

Start Date: February 2, 2026
Location: Monroe, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 1:6 patient ratio; every other weekend required; no call

Highlights:

• Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with 36-bed capacity caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Epic charting system preferred; telemetry monitoring on unit and remote
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• 24-hour orientation with interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, PT, and radiology
• 13-week assignment with maximum 7 days requested time off

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg or Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Two supervisory references from Manager level or above highly preferred
• Trauma Level I or II and community hospital experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
