Five Below is seeking Seasonal Sales Associates for Monroe, GA. The role focuses on delivering an engaging shopping experience and supporting store operations.

• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers, provide assistance, and handle multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, and offer recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address issues using product knowledge, offering alternative solutions and aiming for exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management:
  Inform management about restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions professionally and courteously
• Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5–10 feet high
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on the sales floor
• Communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers in person and by phone; exchange accurate information
• Move across the sales floor to assist customers and stock areas
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts; travel as required
• Identify and follow instructions regarding merchandise layouts, schedules, and standard operating procedures
• Remain able to stay in a stationary, upright position for extended periods
