Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Accountant located in the Greater Monroe Area. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring tax compliance, preparing financial statements, and providing tax planning advice. The role also includes maintaining detailed accounting records and working closely with clients from diverse industries to meet their accounting and tax needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax
- Strong skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements
- Proficient in Accounting practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with governmental entities and knowledge of GASB standards is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
