Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a construction project located in Monroe, LA (Estimated
Start Date:
January 19th). The Project Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing occupational health and safety on the construction project, working closely with the on‑site project management team to ensure subcontractor compliance with company and facility safety policies and procedures. The Project Safety Manager will coordinate with other contractors on site, review project safety plans, JSAs, conduct and lead project safety meetings, conduct safety observations of field construction activities, respond to and investigate incidents, etc.
- Experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction
- Knowledge of occupational safety regulations
- Experience in Health & Safety Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CHST, GSP, ASP, or CSP preferred
- Minimum of 3‑5 years relevant experience as a Site Safety Professional
- $40‑47.50 per hour (x1.5 overtime) – pay depends on experience
- Per diem available if not local (local candidates preferred)
