Peach Tree Dental is seeking an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to educate our patients to maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime, treat them like family, and keep them comfortable.
Responsibilities- Taking radiographs
- Providing routine dental prophylaxis (polish)
- Maintaining infection control
- Providing oral hygiene instruction
- Maintaining/scheduling patients for regular preventive recall appointments
- Managing supplies
- Acommodating individual patient needs
- Educating the patient/parent about dental procedures
- Maintaining the clinic’s schedule efficiently
- Adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)
Saturday Rotation (7:50am - 1:00pm)
Compensation- Starting from $16-$20 hourly
- Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
- High School Diploma or higher
- REQUIRED:
Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification (issued by Louisiana State Board of Dentistry) - REQUIRED:
Dental X-Ray Certification - CPR Certification
- 2+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice (preferred)
