Job Overview
Enrollment and Communication Manager, Staff, Full‑Time, Monroe, LA, Louisiana Delta Community College – Enrollment Management Department. Unclassified – Administrative/Staff appointment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with on‑site registration for Adult Basic Education (ABE) and credit courses; support peak registration periods.
- Serve as backup for phone calls and window services: answer calls and assist students/visitors; direct inquiries to appropriate departments.
- Help students complete applications and resolve registration problems; guide course selection and scheduling.
- Primary contact for student communications; distribute information via email, phone, and other communication systems.
- Work in all student and applicant communication systems; ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
- Provide clerical support for the Dean of Strategic Enrollment Management: schedule, file, prepare documents; assist with special projects and events.
- Manage and support CRM system: update recruitment cohorts; develop and monitor prospective student data; create and execute communication plans; train end users; primary contact for CRM support issues.
- Team leadership and development: oversee staff or student workers; provide guidance, training, performance feedback; set priorities, monitor progress; maintain efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Additional responsibilities: maintain student records; collaborate with other departments; participate in professional development.
- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in communication or a related field.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities.
- Self‑motivation; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred experience in higher education.
- Experience with Ellucian Banner.
- Experience with CRM software.
