Plant Controller
Salary: $120,000+ (DOE)
Location:West Monroe, Louisiana
Industry: Food Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead financial operations for a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership and executive teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee plant-level accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Lead cost accounting, inventory controls, and variance analysis
- Present financial results to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Partner with operations to improve efficiency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Lead and develop plant finance staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA a plus)
- Food manufacturing or plant experience preferred (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills, including board-level presentations
- Knowledge of food product costing and plant operations
