A Day in the Life of a Store Manager
  • Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities, approve rental agreements, and monitor results for revenue and growth.
  • Oversee coworker collection activities, follow up on accounts requiring manager intervention, approve customer commitments, and provide leadership & training to ensure compliance with collections procedures.
  • Monitor and achieve planned profit results by effectively managing store resources, enforcing company policies, protecting assets through expense management, controlling inventory, product ordering, pricing, cash handling, store security, and resolving problems and complaints quickly.
  • Oversee and provide effective training & development for all coworkers, schedule and organize daily activities and goals, staff, recruit, and hire for the assigned store, maximize retention, reduce turnover, and train direct coworkers for exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3–5 years of retail/management experience
  • Completion of RAC’s Store Manager Development Program
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in store operation applications
  • Valid state driver's license and a good driving record – you will be driving company vehicles
