CDL Driver

Pulpmill Services, Inc. (PSI) primary business is the manufacturing, installation, repair and refurbishing of pulping equipment, diversifying into industrial general construction including concrete, structural steel, piping and mechanical projects. PSI is a full-service fabrication, welding, and machine shop utilizing advanced CNC machines, water jet and plasma tables and large horizontal and vertical milling machines.

The CDL driver is responsible for deliveries and pick ups as needed. This position will work in the fabrication shop when not driving. Typically Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm.

This position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to the following key functions:

• Perform deliveries and pick-ups as needed.
• Ensure all loads are secured before leaving location.
• Communicate effectively with all parties regarding loads.
• Travel out of state when needed.
• Pull 20’ and 40” gooseneck trailers.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Learn and perform other tasks and duties as needed.
• Ability to provide accurate information to others.
• Ability to recognize and report any issues with vehicles and/or equipment.
• Ability to prioritize and make changes as needed.
• Possess good communication and people skills.
• Be able to think quickly and critically in response to scope changes.
• Ability to recognize when a sense of urgency is needed.
  
  Ability to work independently and as a team member with other personnel.

Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials .

• Experience in a pulling 20’ and 40’ gooseneck trailers.
• Experience in binding and strapping equipment.

• Valid CDL License.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• $20 - $24/hour (exact rate to be determined based on experience and qualifications)
