Registered Nurse PRN - Imaging

FMOL Health invites applications for the Registered Nurse PRN in the Imaging department. The role involves providing professional nursing care for patients while supporting physicians and staff in daily coordination of patient care and access. The PRN will schedule appointments, coordinate procedures, assist with patient flow, and may serve as a preceptor for clinical staff. This position requires independent judgement and minimal supervision.

• Patient Care: Patient psychosocial/physiologic assessments are performed at all times. A care plan based on trends of similar patients, including patient education and discharge planning, is formulated. The RN prioritizes care to meet individual needs and supports patient and family education. The RN ensures accurate documentation and advocates for patient rights.
• Coordination of Care: The RN collaborates with the healthcare team, patients, and families to maximize outcomes. Patient care activities are delegated appropriately and staff assignments revised to maximize productivity. The RN participates in unit teams, work groups, and committees as requested.
• Quality: As a clinical resource, the RN mentors and preceptors and engages in quality improvement initiatives using standards, guidelines, and pathways. Evidence‑based practice and research findings are incorporated to enhance outcomes.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Valid BCLS certification upon employment; online certification not acceptable.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months.
