General Manager

General Manager works with customer, ensures that the team adheres to policies and procedures, supervises team members, oversees dispensary operations, and ensures a wonderful patient experience.

• Provides a wonderful experience for the customer.
• Advises customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
• Keeps abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
• Processes customer payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensures that the store is clean and well-organized at all times.
• Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
• Hires, trains, and supports new employees.
• Resolve customer issues.
• Provides leadership and direction to all employees.
• Works closely with ownership to ensure stores are profitable and reputable.
• Ensures an excellent standard of customer service is upheld.
• Maintains the store to high standards, includes stocking products and regular cleaning.
• Completes tasks assigned by the ownership accurately and efficiently.
• Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
• Maintains compliance by following the proper policies and procedures set by the company and the state.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree or can substitute experience for degree.
• Two to four years of experience working as an AGM or GM in a dispensary.
• Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Work well with other team‑members.
• Be self‑motivated and possess the desire for self‑development.
• Ability to work autonomously when required.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
