The member assistant – cart attendant helps shape the member’s shopping experience by providing a positive first and last impression. You will keep the parking lot clean and organized, assist members with their purchases, and help load items into vehicles. This role requires you to be on your feet and active in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities- Maintain a well-kept parking lot and ensure carts are available for members.
- Assist members with purchases and help load items into vehicles as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greet and thank members, and answer questions across the club.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area and ensure safety and organization in designated zones.
- Respond to member issues and concerns, resolve problems, and promote the company s products and services.
- Process member purchases, assist with payments according to company policies, and utilize cash registers when needed.
- Ensure carts/flatbeds are available and transport items for members as required.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics, including the Open Door Policy.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are fulfilled by notifying members of delays or unavailability; offer alternatives when needed; prepare items for pickup; resolve issues; and promote products and services.
- Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety checks and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Provide member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing purchases, and supporting various payment types.
- Organize and maintain availability of carts/flatbeds and assist with transporting items for members.
- Comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with stakeholders, and adapting to change and feedback.
