All About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You must engage actively by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to our contact attempts or do not work a shift within 5 months, your employment may be terminated. You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term training schedule.

After that, use the myTime app to pick shifts.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and how to drive adoption and guest loyalty. Deliver quick and easy service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while maintaining quality.

Preferred Skills

From training: strong communication, composure in a fast-paced environment, customer service mindset, attention to detail, ability to educate guests about products and services, and ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners. Work independently or with a team.

Role Expectations

Include cash handling, scanning and bagging items, maintaining safety standards, assisting with Order Pick Up and Drive Up, keeping a clean workspace, stocking during store hours, and supporting cash office as needed. All duties are based on business needs and store policies.
