OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Acquire knowledge of represented products.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and promote products to consumers.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Set up and prepare event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with client visit preparation and audit corrections.
- Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Submit expense reports per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit online requirements on event day.
- Navigate company’s electronic systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF forms, and internet access.
- This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week; however, the company reserves discretion to adjust the role based on business needs.
- Additional duties may be assigned as required by management.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb/step up ladder, balance, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods using appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills – use PC or mobile device, navigation of internal systems.
- Local food handler permit may be required.
- English primary language; bilingual skills may be required.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
