Overview
JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for inspecting the wastewater lift stations. Performs necessary maintenance for the stations.
Responsibilities- Performs routine checks on all lift stations; pumps, float switches and controls panels.
- Perform pump maintenance; cleaning and inspecting pumps, check for wear of pumps and parts, lubricate needed parts.
- Cleans wet wells as needed.
- Ensure all float switches function properly.
- Check control panels for electrical issues.
- Records detailed maintenance activities.
- Follows all safety procedures; lockout tag out, confined space, fall risk and emergency response.
- Required to perform manhole inspections to examine the condition of manholes leading to lift station.
- All other tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
- Valid Drivers License
- Wastewater lift station experience
- Some electrical knowledge
- Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
- Saturday and Sunday 7am-11am
- Will be on-call for emergencies
- Overtime as needed;
Heavy rain events after hours
