A Bobtail/Flatbed Driver’s primary function is to load and deliver products safely and efficiently. Salary depends on experience.

• Drive safely and operate in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws related to motor carrier safety regulations.
• Deliver lubricant products, in bulk or packaged form, to customers throughout the local territories.
• Load and unload product in and out of the truck in a manner compliant with company policy and state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicle on and off customer sites in a manner compliant with company policy and procedure and DOT.
• Unload products at customer locations in tanks located above and below ground or warehouses.
• Maintain equipment according to company guidelines.
• Maintain an electronic driving log book in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete an electronic Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Maintain contact with dispatch to receive loading and delivery instructions.
• Communicate any customer needs to appropriate personnel.
• Deliver the product in a courteous, professional manner.

• CDL License – Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements REQUIRED.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of the general area in which the product will be delivered.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Possession of a current Medical Examiner’s certificate.
• Knowledge of procedures to secure cargo in or on a commercial vehicle.
• Good communication skills and detail oriented.
• Some weekends on call.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and climb.
• Load and off load packages ranging in weight from 20 to 60 pounds each.
• Move 55-gallon drums ranging in weight from 450 to 600 pounds each.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Report all accidents and injuries to supervisor.
