Job Description:Middle School Physical Education and Health Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Physical Education and Health Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and health education, as well as experience working with middle school students. The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and effective physical education and health curriculum, as well as promoting healthy lifestyle choices among students.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education and health curriculum for middle school students
- Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate physical education and health lessons
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to support student growth and development
- Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyle choices, and positive attitudes towards physical activity
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education and health concepts into other subject areas
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and well-being
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in physical education and health education
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Physical Education or Health Education
- Experience teaching middle school students
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical education and health education curriculum and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyle choices among students
