Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team at our skilled nursing and rehab campus in Monroe. In this role, you will provide high-quality, hands‑on care to residents in a supportive, team‑based environment.

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment which promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and their individuality
• Keep Nursing Directors up to date on resident’s status and other related material
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the resident, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
• Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials
• Respond to inquiries relating to their particular area or to requests from residents, visitors, other personnel, etc. within given time frames and within established policy
• Responsible for the supervision of all nursing activities on the unit
• Responsible for the interpretation and adherence of the policies and procedures for the personnel, patients, medical staff and public
• Make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident’s physical and emotional status

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred (home health, medical, surgical or critical care).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to compassionate care.

• Shifts:
  
  12‑hour shifts available on Night Shift (4:45 pm – 5:15 am).
• Weekends:
  Rotating weekend schedule required for full‑time, every 3rd weekend.
• Pay Rate: $32.90 – $36.40 /hour (based on length of licensure).
• Additional Pay:
  Night Shift Differential is an additional $3.00/hour.
