Cannabis Retail Assistant Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our rapidly growing cannabis dispensary in Michigan. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of cannabis retail regulations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure efficient store operations, compliance, and team development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager with overseeing day-to-day dispensary operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, and customer service.
  • Support compliance with Michigan’s cannabis laws and internal policies to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Supervise and coach team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, stock levels, and product availability.
  • Oversee staff scheduling to optimize coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives and in-store promotions.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving store targets and goals.
  • Address customer concerns professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail management, preferably within the cannabis industry or a similarly regulated sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Michigan cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in Michigan’s cannabis industry.
