Our client is a dynamic and growing organization seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with potential for long-term growth.

Position Overview
The Junior Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end close process. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of balancing accuracy with efficiency.
Responsibilities Of The Junior Staff Accountant
- Assist with preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for audits.
- Help monitor and track fixed asset activity.
- Assist in preparing standard financial reports and variance analyses.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Help with data entry, invoice processing, and account coding as needed.
- Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests from management.
- 0 - 2 years of accounting or related experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an Accounting team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience /Skills for the Junior Staff Accountant:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Actively pursuing CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
