MiTek Designer$60,000–$70,000/year | Onsite | Mon–Fri, 9AM–5PM | Immediate Hire
We’re partnering with a leading structural contractor to hire a MiTek Designer to support their growing engineering and preconstruction team. This is a fully onsite, hands‑on position where your MiTek skills will directly shape the accuracy, efficiency, and buildability of residential and commercial projects.

- Develop detailed MiTek‑based designs for wall panels, trusses, and structural systems
- Produce shop drawings, layouts, and engineering calculations directly within Mi Tek
- Interpret architectural and structural plans to ensure alignment with design intent and load paths
- Work closely with estimators, project managers, and field teams to support project constructability
- Provide design insight during preconstruction to improve materials usage, cost control, and workflow efficiency
- Verify all designs meet building codes, engineering standards, and project specifications
- 2+ years of hands‑on MiTek experience (required)
- Background in wall panel and truss design
- Strong understanding of wood and panelized construction
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and strong problem‑solving abilities
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
- Degree or certification in construction or engineering (preferred, not required)
- 12 PTO days in year one + your birthday off
- 4 PTO days added in year two
- 9 paid holidays
- PTO increases with tenure (up to 21 days)
