Regional Logistics Manager – Central New Jersey
We are currently seeking a Regional Logistics Manager to oversee operations at a large distribution center in New Jersey. The Manager will supervise approximately 30 employees, including five direct reports and three supervisors.
This is an on‑site position with high growth potential. Working hours are Monday‑Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., first shift. Salary range: $77,180 – $115,580 annually.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor warehouse staff.
- Oversee all distribution center functions, ensuring productivity, cost, and service KPIs are met and continuously improved.
- Analyze and optimize the use of time, space, and movement within the facility.
- Collaborate with other managers and executives to achieve monthly sales goals and ensure timely processing and shipping of sales orders to dealers and distributors.
- Support daily strategic business initiatives with a strong understanding of logistics objectives.
- Manage operational relationships with third‑party transportation and logistics providers.
- Responsible for purchasing all equipment and supplies for the Distribution Center.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 7 years of related experience, including management of typically two or more regular full‑time employees (one exempt).
- Minimum of 5‑7 years of distribution management experience and 2‑3 years of planning and inventory control systems experience.
- Strong background in freight transportation and shipping/receiving.
- Ability to lead, coach, discipline, and train a team.
- Experience with Distribution Center safety training and programs is a plus.
- Experience with budget management/financials is a plus.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and inventory control systems is a plus.
- Knowledge in freight transportation and shipping/receiving is helpful.
