ResponsibilitiesTerritory is Paterson, NJ. The candidate must live in or within 30 minutes of the territory and be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with lottery retailers and maximize sales through merchandising, training, and promotional techniques.
- Travel within assigned territory nearly 100% of the time worked.
- Grow sales at existing lottery retailers by selling new products/promotions.
- Monitor and oversee new retailer training and installation of new stores.
- Visit retailers on a regular schedule to ensure consistent and professional presence at every lottery retailer.
- Maintain a route cycle within the Sales Wizard application.
- Consistently and accurately record all retailer visits within the Sales Wizard application.
- Manage instant ticket inventory to maximize sales in specific retail locations, making recommendations or taking action to optimize lottery product sales.
- Track and maintain adequate inventory levels of the instant ticket product at the assigned retailer; pick up old inventory and transfer packs as necessary.
- Remove closing games as directed by the lottery within the required time frame.
- Deliver, install, and maintain all lottery point-of-sale materials.
- Operate and train retailers to operate all lottery equipment.
- Provide field training to retailers on changes and/or enhancements to lottery games and promotions.
- Perform retailer terminations, change of ownerships, and other related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate the advantages of proper placement of lottery products and point-of-sale materials and equipment.
- Assist with completing special projects directed by Lottery Commission.
- Assist Key Account Managers with the implementation of sales programs.
- Achieve targeted sales goals within the assigned territory and district.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in retail or wholesale sales.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Good driving record required.
- Candidate must reside in close proximity to the territory.
- English and Spanish fluency required.

Compensation and BenefitsEstimated starting compensation range: $48,103 - $93,716. Total rewards may include commission, discretionary bonuses, 401(k) savings plan with company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
