Warehouse Packing Associate - PT Afternoon Shift

Monday through Friday 5pm to 9pm

Pay Rate
: $15.50/hour

Job Summary
The Packing Associate is responsible for packing items into their correct containers to prepare them for shipment using various packing supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack items following a specific set of instructions
• Check to ensure items are damage free
• Verify if items pulled out of package are correct
• Seal and label each container
• Move completed packages for shipping
• Review packing list for correct order and store number
• Recommends process changes to improve efficiency and eliminate errors
• Comply with all company safety rules
• Maintains excellent attendance
• Work as a team player
• Keep his/her area clean and safe

Supervision This position is frequently supervised by the Warehouse Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Forklift Operations Certification is preferred (or experience with other warehouse equipment)
• OSHA Certification is preferred (but not required)

Physical Demands This position requires standing and light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 80% of the day and stooping for 20% of the day.
