A health services organization in New York is currently seeking a licensed Physician, with aFamily and/or Internal Medicine background, for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in Rockland County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Specialty: Family / Internal Medicine
• Setting: Outpatient
• Patient Population: Adults
• Patient Volume: 15 to 20 per day

Responsibilities:

The Primary Care Physician will:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions
• Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health
• Educate patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Conduct regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues
• Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans, as needed
• Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Primary Care background

Desired Skills:

• Board Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
