Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing the organization’s receivables to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices, minimize delinquency, and support cash flow processes. This role involves monitoring customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports related to accounts receivable performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment and resolve overdue balances.
Process, record, and reconcile incoming payments in an accurate and timely manner.
Analyze aging reports and identify trends or potential collection issues.
Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment plans, and account status.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to address billing issues.
Assist in month-end closing processes, including AR reconciliations and reporting.
Prepare and maintain accurate AR records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
Support audits by providing necessary accounts receivable information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
