Tax Accountant

Job Overview

A local public accounting firm with a diverse client base that has been in business for more than 75 years is adding to their team. Many of this firm's employees have been with them for more than 20 years. The firm is located just east of Charlotte in the Metro area. The role can be on a contract/seasonal basis or direct hire.

$90 to $100K DOE

• Prepare complex Corporate, Fiduciary & Partnership returns including (1065, 1120, 1120S, 1120H & 1041)
• Prepare complex & basic individual tax returns including forms (1040, Schedule C, E, &
  
  F)
• Prepare tax projections to achieve a favorable position for multiple clients
• Prepare monthly bookkeeping for multiple companies including financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations

• 3+ years experience preparing various tax returns
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with Master's in Accountancy preferred
• Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA preferred
• Ability to advise clients as needed with confident customer service skills
