We are seeking a Bilingual (English and Spanish or Portuguese) Estimator Specialist to join our growing team in Monroe, NC. This role is essential to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the estimating and quoting process for both cabinetry and counter top (granite, quartz, and stone) projects. The Estimator Specialist will work closely with the Sales, Design, Production, and Purchasing Departments to ensure all estimates, material selections, and purchase orders are completed on time and aligned with project requirements.

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, bids, and proposals for cabinetry and counter top projects, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with client specifications.

Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to review material selections, confirm costs, and ensure timely and accurate order placement.

Analyze blueprints, layouts, and project documentation to validate quantities, materials, and installation requirements.

Verify and maintain pricing databases, purchase orders, and builder program updates.

Communicate directly with builders, vendors, and internal teams to clarify details and resolve any discrepancies before orders are finalized.

Support the Sales and Design Departments with accurate pricing, product knowledge, and technical details during client meetings.

Conduct follow-ups with current builders to confirm satisfaction and identify future opportunities.

Ensure all estimates and bids meet company pricing standards and profitability goals while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of cabinet and counter top materials, finishes, fabrication, installation, and design concepts.

Estimating Expertise:
Skilled in reading blueprints, performing takeoffs, and preparing accurate cost analyses for residential and commercial projects.

Collaboration:

Works effectively across departments — particularly with Purchasing, Sales, and Production — to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

Analytical & Detail-Oriented:
High attention to detail, ensuring that all data, pricing, and project documents are precise and consistent.

Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to work directly with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Bilingual:
Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese — required for daily communication with internal teams, international staff, and vendors.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 1 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or purchasing within the cabinetry, counter top, or construction industry.

Experience working with blueprints, takeoffs, and construction drawings.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with estimating or ERP systems.

Prior experience working with builders, contractors, or design teams is a plus.

Office-based position with occasional visits to production or warehouse areas. Must be able to sit, stand, and move for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs if necessary.
