QualificationsEngineering Technician requires a vocational diploma or degree in an engineering field. The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in engineering information systems and/or engineering services.
- Management and operation of rapid prototyping processes (Stratasys Objet and FDM)
- Working knowledge of various software and business operating systems, such as:
- ECR/ECO workflows (Workflow Gen, Wind Chill, Enovia - a plus)
- Product Data Management (Autodesk Vault, PTC Wind Chill, Enovia - a plus)
- CAD Administration (Autodesk Inventor, PTC Creo, Solid Works - a plus)
- ERP software (Baan, SAP - a plus)
- Reviewing drawings for proper notation, revision, and format during the release cycle
- Approving the release of drawings and entering them into the PDM/repository system
- Entering BOM and release information into the ERP system (data entry)
