Position Details

  • Dates: 8/15/2024-6/9/2025
  • Hours:

    Part-time or Full-time candidates will be considered
  • Caseload:
    Itinerant across the district to assist other SLP's with larger caseloads
  • Primarily working with PreK
    • High behavior classroom
Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough evaluations of patients with speech and language disorders
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy sessions targeting speech and language goals
  • Monitor and meticulously document patient progress
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
  • Engage and educate families in the therapy process
Requirements
  • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Possess current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina
  • Preferably, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), CFs will also be considered
  • Preferred experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
