Overview
General Managers lead their teams in providing guests with exceptional Southern Hospitality. They develop and lead a team that drives traffic, sales, and profitability while maintaining a customer-centric culture and ensuring an outstanding guest and employee experience.
ResponsibilitiesPeople
- Actively seek growth opportunities or assignments for development.
- Communicate effectively and timely with all guests (internal and external).
- Take an active role with all new team members.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and adhere to all systems and processes.
- Demonstrate our Cultural Principles in every interaction.
Performance
- Adhere to all systems and processes including BoFood and BoLabor; serve as the subject matter expert.
- Uphold standards and take corrective action when standards are not met.
- Empower team members to maintain WOW guest service with every interaction.
- Reduce R&M through proper manager walks, process execution, and timely escalation of opportunities where applicable.
- Engage and foster external community relationships, including recruitment and sales growth via digital platforms and catering.
Profit
- Increase same-store growth through sales and guest counts.
- Understand the restaurant P&L results and how quality, service, and cleanliness impact sales.
- Participate in inventory management and uphold all safety and security standards.
- Engage in all LTOs throughout the LTO lifecycle, including training and POP by deadlines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- 18 years or older
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation.
- Available to work any shift, 7 days a week, with a required 50-hour work week.
- Prior supervisory experience with a coaching mindset.
- Experience onboarding employees at all levels.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Cash handling and bank deposit experience.
- Ability to multi-task and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to bend, stand, kneel, and lift 25+ lbs frequently.
