Due to continued growth, Pro-Tops is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in our granite and quartz fabrication process, supporting both residential and commercial construction and remodeling projects.

What You’ll Do

Set up, program, and run two multi-axis CNCs simultaneously.

Use an overhead crane to load and unload slabs.

Supervise CNC controls to ensure cuts and routes meet specifications.

Monitor and make adjustments to machines for optimal results.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Perform equipment maintenance.

Notify the Shop Foreman of material defects.

Keep projects on track by monitoring and updating project data.

Assist with other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions in English.

Strong time management and multitasking skills.

Clear and effective communication abilities.

A problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Safety-conscious with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desire to work collaboratively and help achieve production goals.

Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Preferred Qualifications

1–2 years of CNC operation experience in the stone industry OR a strong willingness to learn.

Experience with CNC machine setup, programming, operation, and maintenance.

Familiarity with other automated stone fabrication tools and saws.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Bi-Lingual (Spanish)

Portuguese is a plus

Working Conditions:

Exposure to airborne particles and moderate to high noise levels in the shop environment.

Required use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE).

Standing for extended periods, with exposure to both hot and cold temperatures.

Must be able to lift or move objects weighing 70+ pounds and bend, reach, and lift without reasonable accommodation.
