The Affordable Housing Partnerships & Program Coordinator supports the growth and execution of True Foundation's two core affordable housing initiatives:
Doorway to Prosperity (Affordable Home ownership) and True Housing Trust (Affordable Rental Housing). This role drives community partnerships, outreach efforts, event execution, impact storytelling, fundraising support, and project coordination.
The coordinator serves as a key connector between community partners, prospective home buyers, affordable housing developments, funding partners, and internal teams — generating awareness and engagement that supports future home ownership and rental opportunities while assisting in the coordination of affordable housing development projects and fundraising activities.
Responsibilities Community Partnerships & Outreach (25%)- Supports relationship-building and outreach with school districts, major employers, healthcare organizations, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, local governments, housing partners, and community organizations.
- Coordinates presentations and informational sessions.
- Schedules partner meetings and maintains partnership contact databases.
- Tracks follow-up activities and supports employer/community engagement strategies.
- Coordinates events supporting Doorway to Prosperity and True Housing Trust, including homebuyer education workshops, employer lunch-and-learns, community information sessions, open houses, church presentations, groundbreaking ceremonies, and framing celebrations.
- Manages event logistics, invitations, registrations, and marketing coordination.
- Prepares presentations, coordinates vendors, tracks attendance, and handles post-event follow-up and reporting.
- Maintains project trackers and schedules project meetings.
- Prepares agendas, meeting summaries, and status reports for leadership.
- Tracks action items and deadlines; maintains project documentation.
- Monitors rezoning, permitting, funding, and development milestones.
- Coordinates communication among project stakeholders.
- Prepares investor and partner presentation materials.
- Coordinates meetings with funding partners and tracks follow-up commitments.
- Assists with grant applications and reporting; supports donor and stakeholder communications.
- Prepares impact and performance summaries.
- Collects homeowner success stories and conducts interviews with participating families.
- Develops testimonials and case studies; gathers photos and impact metrics.
- Supports newsletters, annual reports, social media, and partner recognition materials.
- Provides meeting preparation, presentation development, and file management.
- Handles correspondence, follow-up, and calendar coordination as needed.
- Completes research assignments and process documentation.
- Within the first 60 days, establishes baseline partner, event, project, and stakeholder tracking systems; thereafter maintains at least 95% of required records as complete and current, with updates entered within two business days of activity.
- Identifies and documents at least six qualified new outreach opportunities each month across employers, schools, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, local governments, housing partners, and community organizations.
- Completes at least 90% of assigned partner and stakeholder follow-up actions within three business days, with the next step, owner, and target date documented.
- Coordinates at least two community outreach or educational events per quarter, completes at least 90% of assigned planning milestones by deadline, and submits attendance and follow-up reporting…
