• Minimum Years of Experience required: 18 months Med/Tele RN exp

• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  General surgeries, Orthopedics, Med Tele, COPD, Stroke, Diabetes, and other general med-surg populations
• Patient Ratios: RN 1:5-6, LPN 1:5-6, CNA 1:8-9
• Required Licensure &
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NHSS
• Skills:
  General Med-Surg RN skills – IV starts, drain/tube management, wound care, NGT placement, central line management
• Cardiac Drips (non-titrating):
  Cardizem and Amiodarone, Heparin gtts, blood products
• Support within Department: CNA for ADLs, Ambulation, patient care;
  Receptionist/HUC;
  Charge nurse with Team Lead support
• Teams:
  Phlebotomy, IV/VAT, RT 24/7, Hospitalist 24/7, Intensivist 24/7 (ICU), Telemetry monitoring/tech (centralized to 4th floor, 24/7)
• Technology/Equipment: EMR Epic, IV Pump Alaris, Monitors Phillips, General med-surg equipment and tele monitors
• Floating:
  Within region and scope of practice

• Orientation:
  Facility and unit – NEO, 2 days departmental
• Shift times: 12h shifts – 7a or 7p start
• Schedule cycle:
  Every 6 weeks
• Weekend rotation:
  Every other
• No call
• Holiday Expectations:
  Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO:
  Up to 6 days off (excluding holidays); may require adding time at end of contract if hours cannot be met
