Where You Will Work: 3rd Fl Cardiac Telemetry is a 44‑bed, fast‑paced cardiac unit with a focus on acute care adults suffering from cardiovascular insufficiencies and strokes. Teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking, educating, and compassion are key drivers to the success of the Union Cardiac Telemetry Unit as we strive to create an atmosphere of belonging and togetherness for our community, our hospital, our patients, and our peers.
Expectations(We’re Looking For)
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skill communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Atrium Health Union is a 182‑bed hospital in Monroe, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus offers a variety of medical services including a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long‑term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, a community wellness and outreach program, a women and children’s center, interventional heart program and physician practices. Over the past 15‑plus years our hospital has been serving the Monroe area, and we have worked to add new services and more specialized physicians and programs to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community.
