Team Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

Position Overview

The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience. Team Members create day‑making experiences by delivering unparalleled guest service, making world‑class hand‑crafted beverages, and bringing Caribou’s Purpose and Values to life in every interaction.

• Provide extraordinary guest service by developing personal relationships, practicing active listening, anticipating needs, and making enthusiastic, knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests.
• Hand‑craft beverages to order and prepare, heat, and serve Caribou food offerings using standard operating procedures.
• Float between barista and guest service, taking ownership of all Team Member roles and responsibilities.
• Manage guest orders, cash drawer, and follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Maintain the look and feel of a well‑run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards.
• Think and act on what the team and guest will need in the future, differentiating problems that can be solved directly from those that require leader support.
• Actively support the team by taking direction from leaders, demonstrating the Core Values:
  Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve With Love.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Preferred: restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.

Seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds; sitting, standing, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical demands must be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
