Job Overview

This is a full‑time position for a Bakery Processing Operator. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.

• Prepare, process, package, and stock products in accordance with Fresh Foods standards.
• Provide customer service and maintain a clean work area.
• Unload stock and reload salvage products according to Fresh Foods standards.
• Participate in and complete required training to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

• High school diploma, GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Complete company training, including new‑hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
• Associates must be at least 18 years of age.

The role requires regular standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. Occasionally, the associate must climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The associate regularly lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds and may lift up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, color, and depth perception.
