The IRS Sales Consultant is a front-line sales professional responsible for driving the successful sale of Integrity Rental Services (IRS) homes across multiple markets. This role combines field-based selling, broker engagement, and transaction leadership to ensure each IRS home is competitively positioned, actively marketed, and sold with excellence.
The IRS Sales Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to buyer agents, prospective buyers, and trade partners—representing the IRS product with deep product knowledge, persuasive communication, and proactive outreach. The role requires a strong ability to influence decisions, guide buyers through the sales process, negotiate offers while managing transaction details from listing to close.
- Builds and maintains relationships with local brokers to drive showings, generate interest, and accelerate offers
- Conducts persuasive in-person and virtual home presentations tailored to buyer motivations and feedback
- Communicates the IRS home value proposition clearly and confidently
- Follows up consistently with buyer agents and prospects to increase offer conversion
- Sales Strategy & Negotiation
- Partners with leadership to competitively price each home
- Guides negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial terms
- Uses consultative selling to overcome objections and support buyer confidence
- Field Sales Operations
• Conducts pre-sales walkthroughs and identify presentation enhancements
• Coordinates needed repairs to improve home appeal
• Ensures staging, photography, and MLS presentation support sales performance
• Manages signage, open houses, and scheduled buyer/agent events
- Transaction Leadership
• Manages the full sales lifecycle from listing to close
• Maintains detailed status records and communicate updates proactively
• Ensures a smooth experience for buyers, agents, lenders, and internal partners
• Conducts ongoing property visits, especially after 30 DOM
Results/Accountability:
- Achieves or exceeds targeted Days on Market (DOM) set by Operations Partner, IST & Executive of Sales
- Increases broker engagement via showings, inquiries, and follow-ups
- Successfully sells IRS homes within target timelines
- Provides weekly updates and lead weekly pipeline meetings
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years sales experience strongly preferred
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- MLS experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekends and 2 days weekly in Monroe, NC office
- Strong communication skills, written, and verbal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple buyers and transactions at once
- Ability to overcome objections and guide buyers through concerns
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- The associate needs to occasionally move about the office to access and operate standard office equipment, etc.
- Ability to move throughout office and home environments
- Ability to drive up to 3 hours at a time
