- Inspect, maintain, and repair general building infrastructure and ground
- Ensure machines and equipment meet established output, efficiency, and availability goals.
- Lead new equipment installations under the guidance of the Facilities Engineer, including plumbing and utility wiring from the drop point to the equipment.
- Validate equipment installations and confirm repairs are completed to required standards.
- Systematically troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of machines and equipment following established procedures; document maintenance and repairs using standardized forms to ensure compliance.
- Create and modify SOPs and other department documents within the Quality Management System
- Manage inventory of necessary spare parts, including tracking usage and reordering as needed.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the facility
- Lead projects of various sizes, coordinating with and managing external contractors as required.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Facilities Technician I team members and apprentices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment, including shop and floor areas.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including PPE usage and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Comply with safety regulations and hygiene guidelines at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Must have sufficient communication, writing (technical), and general housekeeping skills.
- Must have advanced understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic plumbing, and HVAC.
- Must be capable of reading blue prints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Must be capable of using multimeter, hand tools, power tools, shop tools drill press, saws, welders, torches, etc.
- Must obtain and maintain HVAC license
- Must have working knowledge of validation and change control process
- ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, and 45001 knowledge/experience preferred.
- FDA and OSHA knowledge / experience preferred
- Must be capable of following all applicable safety standards and procedure
- Must be able to work from heights using ladders, lifts, platforms, etc.
- Must be able to sit, stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
